My mom always has some funny story about my nephew Mason. This kid is a genius. Seriously. Here's the latest on Mason "The Brain."
Mason is 6 years old. My brother and his family moved to Alabama awhile back, and Mason was completely bored and unchallenged in school. They home-schooled him for a year then got him into a private school this year. He had his first spelling test a few weeks ago. It consisted of 3-letter words like "cat" and "dog." There were two "bonus" words at the end with 4 letters. At the bottom of his paper, he wrote this:
"Here's a word for you. Photosynthesis."
And he followed it with a drawing of a sun shining on a plant.
Holy crap. Watch out world!
